For care homes and facilities

Freedom to Explore takes your residents out, even when they can't leave. Here's how it works and what you need to get started.

Who it's for

Care homes, nursing homes, day centres and communities; families caring for someone at home; health authorities, municipalities and public bodies that want to offer the service locally.

What you need

  • A TV or projector connected to a computer, a tablet or a smart TV with a browser.
  • A stable internet connection: for HD we recommend at least 10 Mbit/s download.
  • A contact person at the facility, who receives the account and manages staff access.

How it works

  1. Choose the place

Decide with your residents where to go and when: a home town, the sea, a festival, a landscape in bloom.

  2. We prepare the flight

We check feasibility, permits and weather, then confirm the date and time. If the weather doesn't allow it, we reschedule.

  3. The live stream

At the agreed time, open the session with your account and show it in the common room. A narrator guides the flight and describes what you see.

Restricted access

Each facility has its own space: private sessions are visible only to authorised accounts. The contact person adds or removes the staff who start the streams in the common room.

Privacy

The drone films places, not residents: no camera ever enters the room. Facility accounts hold only the data needed to log in.

Pilot phase

We're starting the first trials in Puglia and looking for facilities that want to take part. Write to us and we'll reply with a proposal and a schedule.
