Freedom to Explore

Live journeys for people who can't travel: care home residents, or people living at home with reduced mobility, choose a place and visit it from above while the drone flies.

The village where you grew up, the sea of a long-ago summer, a patron saint's festival, a blossoming field, a sunset. Freedom to Explore starts from a specific wish and turns it into a real-time visit, on the day and at the hour when that place looks its best.

It isn't a video to watch, it's an outing. During the stream a narrator describes what's on screen, and the group follows the flight together on the big screen in the common room.

It's a different idea of accessibility: not just watching, but feeling present.

Where it happens

In care facilities

Private sessions for groups of residents, on a TV or projector. The facility chooses the place and time with its residents; we organise the flight.

At home

A person, or their family, books a flight and follows it on a tablet, computer or TV.

Soon with 360° headsets

We're preparing headset viewing, so you can look around freely as if you were up there.
